Essential Haus Events

At Essential Haus we support survivors with healing circles (peer support groups) that provide a safe space to share their stories and for self-exploration + personal growth. Through various activities and discussions, we delve into our own inner landscape, uncovering the deeper layers of ourselves and gaining valuable personal insight. We also host various events that engage community in some of the most diverse ways.

    • Join us for a sacred space of healing and empowerment at our BIPOC LGBTQIA+ Healing Circle. Together, we will honor our journeys, share personal stories, and embrace our resilience.

Let’s heal, thrive, and celebrate our beautiful identities! This peer support group will be held at University of Miami room 2300G -- OPEN TO ALL!

Additionally, thank you to our non profit partner for the BLQ Showcase, Essential Haus. Essential Haus is a LGBTQ+ domestic violence and homelessness organization. They are on a quest to open a shelter in Miami, Florida. Their goal is to help LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic violence get a new start on life. From housing assistance, job placement, professional counseling or educational resources; all while creating a roadmap of hope for victims, survivors and those looking to leave a violent relationship but lack the resources to do so. We are so excited to collaborate with such a phenomenal initiative and founder, Timothy McLemore!
